Health and Wellness Protocol

Students are not permitted to attend class if they have a fever of 100.4 degrees F or greater within the last 24 hours. Please notify the studio if your dancer is sick. If dancers have had any covid-19 exposures, they will not be permitted to come to the studio until cleared by a professional. If immediate family members are experiencing illness or have had any covid-19 exposures, please refrain from sending your dancer. Facial masks are welcome but will no longer be mandatory. Please follow CDC guidelines and any local health orders. Staff members will not be asking about vaccination status and parents are not permitted to ask staff members.

Arrival/Dismissal and Lobby Rules

The Lobby is open to students only. We ask that you please drop your student off at the front door and wait in your car until class has concluded. A staff member will be at the front door sanitizing hands on the way in and ushering dancers to their assigned room. If a dancer under the age of 5 needs assistance, 1 parent may escort them into their assigned room and must immediately leave the lobby. Students are not permitted to arrive earlier than 10 minutes before class. In past experience, we found students adjusted to classes easier and it cut down on lobby distractions and congestion.

Class Viewing

All recreational dance and all tumbling classes will be able to view their students via Zoom the last week of each month.  There will not be viewing in the months of November and May as we would like you to be surprised by your dancer’s progress at the upcoming show. Tumbling classes will mirror the same schedule for consistency.

Payment Terms & Conditions

Monthly Tuition is based on a yearly rate is divided into 10 equal monthly payments due on the first of each month August through May.  Tuition is considered late after the 7th of each month and will result in your child not being able to attend class.

All scheduled closings are already factored into the tuition and some classes may have more scheduled days than others due to how classes fall on scheduled closings.

Registration Fee: There will be an annual non-refundable $30.00 Registration Fee per household charged to your credit card to process your Registration. There is not a Registration Fee for Summer classes and camps.  However, tuition for these classes will be charged to your credit card to process your Registration.

Late Registrations: If registering for classes after July 31st, your first month Tuition (and Costume charges if past October 1st) will be charged to your credit card at the same time we charge the Registration Fee.

You Have The Following Payment Options
1. Automatic Payments: You have the option to pay automatically with the credit card attached to your account on either the 1st or the 7th of each month.  By default, every time you register for classes your credit card is set to “use credit card for recurring billing” and all your account charges will be paid automatically on the 1st of each month. If you choose to deselect this option and you have not paid your account charges by the 6th of the month, your account charges will be automatically paid on or after the 7th of the month with attempts made thereafter if your card was declined for any reason.  This keeps your payments on time and will allow your dancer to continue taking class.

Competitive Company Members: Competition fees will be processed automatically with the credit card attached to your account on their due date if not manually paid by the due date.  The due date will be the posted date of the charge.  Failed payment by the due date will result in your child not being entered into the competition.

2. Manual Payments: If you wish to pay manually every month via check or online with a credit card, we suggest deselecting the “use credit card for recurring billing” which gives you the option to pay at your convenience before the 7th of the month when your charges will be paid automatically as stated above.

You may make a credit card payment (VISA, MasterCard or Discover) by logging into your online account through The EDC Parent Portal at TheEdgeDanceComplex.com.  We do not accept credit card payments at the studio.

You may pay by Personal Check or Money Order in person at the studio. Please make checks payable to The Edge Dance Complex, LLC and note the student’s full name in the memo portion of the check. Returned Check Charge: $25.00 per event.
We prefer to not take cash and we will not be responsible for any lost payments.
