Class Description
So many choices for those wanting to enter the world of dance and tumbling or to continue in their journey. Our Recreational Dance Classes are a great place for our young dancers to start, and an equally great place for older dancers to refine their technical skills. Our staff is highly motivated to help each student achieve their dance goals. For the more serious or career dancer please see our Edge Elite Company page. Twinkle Toes
We start our youngest stars out on the right foot with this class! Combining Tap and Creative Movement. Ages 2 1/2 -3
What to Wear: Any leotard and suntan tights or tutu, tan tap shoes and pink ballet shoes.
Show Costume: December Costume is $35.00 plus sales. June Costume is $80.00 plus sales tax. Both costume charges due by October 1st.
Tiny Stars
This class is designed to open up the world of dance a little more to our younger dancers. This class will offer Tap, Ballet and intro to Jazz. Ages 3-4. *First time 3 year old students must take Twinkle Toes first)
What to Wear: Any leotard and suntan tights or tutu, tan tap shoes and pink ballet shoes. Show Costume: December Costume is $35.00 plus sales. June Costume is $90.00 plus sales tax. Both costume charges due by October 1st.
Combo
Our Combo classes are a great way to get a feel for multiple styles of dance. This class is for Ages 5-6. Each week, a COMBO class dancer will receive Ballet with alternating Tap & Jazz.
What to Wear: Any leotard and suntan tights, ballet skirt or dance shorts, tan tap shoes or slip on tan jazz shoes and pink ballet shoes.Show Costume: December Costume is $35.00 plus sales. June Costume is $90.00 plus sales tax. Both costume charges due by October 1st.
Combo Pre Primary
This is a more advanced COMBO class for Ages 7-8. This class has a rotating schedule (Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Ballet) so that a young dancer can learn in all genres before entering Primary classes. What to Wear: Any athletic dance wear, tan slip on jazz, ballet & tap shoes, any sneaker for hip hop. Show Show Costume: December Costume is $40.00 plus sales. June Costume is $90.00 plus sales tax. Both costume charges due by October 1st.
Lyrical / Contemporary
Students will learn to express their emotions through movement in this genre of dance. It combines Jazz & Ballet moves to create this moving genre. (Ballet co-requisite for Company members)
What to Wear: Any dance top and dance shorts and half soles.
Show Costume: Costume is $80.00 plus sales tax due by October 1st.
Jazz
Anyone can enjoy the excitement of Jazz class. Dancers listen to upbeat music learning many different styles of Jazz while working on flexibility, Jazz technique and combinations.
What to Wear: Any dance top and dance shorts, Tan slip on Jazz shoes.
Show Costume: Costume is $80.00 plus sales tax due by October 1st.
Hip Hop
A high energy class that teaches you to follow choreography and learn street dance movement.
What to Wear: Any clothing you can move in. Any tennis shoe worn for class only, not worn outside. No hooded sweatshirts or jeans.
Show Costume: Costume is $80.00 plus sales tax due by October 1st.
Ballet
All of our Ballet classes stress correct Ballet technique based on age and level.
What to Wear: Any black leotard, ballet pink tights only, pink ballet shoes. EXCEPTION: Twinkle Toes & Combo see that description.

Tap
Tap is fun for all ages. Students enrolled in Tap classes will learn to make music with their feet with strong technique and rhythm.
What to Wear: Any dance top, dance shorts and black Jazz Tap shoes.
Show Costume: Costume is $65.00 plus sales tax due by October 1st.
Cheer Dance
Your dancer will be able to learn pom techniques, tricks and jumps combined with routines. The perfect combination of cheerleading and dance.
What to Wear: Any dance top and dance shorts or pants, Tan slip on Jazz shoes. Show Costume: Costume including poms is $70.00 plus sales tax due by October 1st.
Tumbling
What to Wear: Any leotard, biketard or shorts and top (athletic wear no street clothes.)
No street shoes allowed on tumbling mats.

Tuition 2023-2024
Tuition - Recreational Dance & Tumbling
One Class per week is $55.00 per month.
Each additional class per week is $35.00 per month.
Monthly rates are arrived at based on a yearly rate and divided by 10 equal payments August through May.
These tuition rates do not apply to Edge Elite Company members
We are a full year studio. Dancers perform in two recitals. December & June
Registration Fee
There is a non-refundable $30.00 Registration Fee per household charged to your credit card when your online registration is processed. There is not a Registration Fee for Summer classes and camps.
Tuition Discounts
2 Sibling – 10% off Tuition
3+ Sibling – 15% off Tuition
Military Reserve & Active Duty – 10% off Tuition
If applicable, only one discount may be applied.
Discounts are not applicable towards Summer classes and camps.
WHEN REGISTERING
After you “Request” your desired classes, PLEASE click on the “Submit Request” button. All Request for classes are time and date stamped and will be processed in that order. It is possible to request a class and then not get it because others were in the que before you. You can add more classes later if desired from within your account.
